The Foundation’s 5 main objectives

Promote the preservation of the integrity of the Bonaventure River in all its aspects, including the quality of its water, the safeguarding of its fauna and flora, and the protection of its banks against erosion.

Promote education and awareness regarding the protection of natural environments and the environment of the Bonaventure River among users, riparian owners and the general population.

Promoting access to different uses, provided that these activities are carried out with respect for the habitat, preserves the unique character of the Bonaventure River and its environmental characteristics.

To promote peaceful, calm and harmonious use of the river by all users in their activities, particularly through the establishment of structures at the level of human and material resources.

To promote the implementation of measures to address climate change affecting the Bonaventure River watershed
